We are currently recruiting for the Cleaning Operative based at St John Ambulance – Wigan.

Pay rate: £39,331.20 Per Annum

Working Patterns: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6am-8am

Maintain an allocated building or area within a building to a high cleaning standard, ensuring customer satisfaction as per contract specifications.
Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated collection points.
Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
Suction clean carpeted areas and spot clean carpets.
Use electrically powered scrubbing/polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish, and spray clean floors (after proper training).
Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, and external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves, and fitments.
Replenish consumables like soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels as needed.
Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, and drinking fountains.
Use chemical agents as directed, following training.
Perform wall washing or inside window cleaning up to a height of body plus arm extension during periodic cleaning.
Carry out other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines.
Perform any other duties as required by management.
