Cleaning Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative based at Cromwell Tools, Sutton Coldfield.

Pay rate: £884 per annum

Working patterns:

• 2 hours once per fortnight / Every other Monday at 10:00am

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain an allocated building or area within a building to a high cleaning standard, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service as per the contract.
• Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated collection points.
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
• Suction clean carpeted areas and spot clean carpets.
• Use electrically powered scrubbing/polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish, and spray clean floors (after proper training).
• Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, radiators, shelves, and fitments.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels as needed.
• Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, and drinking fountains.
• Use chemical agents as directed, following proper instruction and training.
• Perform wall washing or inside window cleaning up to a height of body height plus arm’s extension during periodic maintenance.
• Carry out other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
• Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines.
• Perform any other duties as required by management relevant to the role.
