With a strong focus on building safety, fire compliance and risk management, the Business Development Manager – Fire will drive growth of the fire consulting capability by winning new clients, developing strategic relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities across Bellrock Advisory.
The role will also involve shaping commercially viable solutions, managing bids and tenders, and delivering sustainable revenue growth in line with market demand.

With a strong focus on building safety, fire compliance and risk management, the Business Development Manager – Fire will drive growth of the fire consulting capability by winning new clients, developing strategic relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities across Bellrock Advisory.
The role will also involve shaping commercially viable solutions, managing bids and tenders, and delivering sustainable revenue growth in line with market demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and managing strategic relationships with target clients aligned to the new business strategy.
- Identifying and winning new logos across fire consultancy services, leveraging data, CRM insights, and market intelligence.
- Supporting and expanding existing client relationships through effective cross-selling.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities, tracked through Hub Spot CRM.
- Leading client meetings and presenting tailored, value-led fire consulting solutions.
- Designing differentiated client propositions aligned to evolving market needs.
- Leading negotiations and managing the full deal lifecycle across bids and partnerships.
- Managing tender processes, coordinating internal stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality submissions.
- Collaborating cross-functionally from initial engagement through to mobilisation.
- Producing accurate pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the fire consultancy market, competitors, and emerging trends.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within fire consultancy or related services (e. g. FRA, HRB, fire engineering).
- Demonstrated track record of delivering profitable revenue growth and achieving targets.
- Strong understanding of fire, building consultancy, or compliance markets (highly advantageous).
- Experience managing complex bids, tenders, and client negotiations.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Hub Spot preferred) and sales analytics tools.
- Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially astute with the ability to identify and convert market opportunities.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capability.
- Confident negotiator with experience closing complex deals.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on cross-functional working.
- Comfortable with proactive outreach, including cold calling and pipeline generation.

Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from 6-8 Greencoat Pl, London, SW1P 1PL and your home address on a hybrid basis.
Monday to Friday 08:30am-17:00pm.
