To be the first point of contact for clients providing a welcoming, professional and discreet service, together with assisting in the general day-to-day functioning of a busy office.
Responsibilities include:
- Dealing with clients on valuation days and registering buyers for the Interior and Decorative sales, including specialist Jewellery, Silver, Art and Asian sales.
- Taking money, organising collections and assisting client bidding.
- Contributing to the pre-sale viewing period, responding efficiently to client queries and sending condition reports.
- Assisting the Office Manager.
The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, organised, confident using computers and be able to work under pressure in a busy but extremely rewarding environment.
Hours: ~ Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with an hour for lunch. You may also be asked to work an occasional Saturday morning, before an auction.
