We are a friendly family orientated members CIU social club, in Bellegrove Road, Welling, looking for a hard working, honest and conscientious member of the team.
Responsibilities include:
- Running a bar and a team of bar staff.
- Liaising with and reporting to Bar Steward.
- Collaborating with other bar staff and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Preparing and serving beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Taking customer orders and processing payments accurately.
- Maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions.
- Exhibiting strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Managing stock and ordering supplies.
- Restocking bar supplies and inventory as needed.
- Having good cellar knowledge including line cleaning.
- Managing rotas and time sheets.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
- Cashing up tills and being responsible for all monies retained in safe.
Previous bar management experience is essential. This is not a live-in position. A bond is required, which will be discussed at interview. Variable shifts, including weekends and evenings, 5 shifts per week, plus holiday and sickness cover.
