Incentives
This role is subject to a Welcome and Retention Bonus for Social Workers on selected pay grades: £1,000 paid in the first month's salary, £1,000 paid at the end of the first completed year in service, £2,000 paid after the second completed year in service, and £3,000 paid at the end of the third completed year in service and every completed year thereafter. Reimbursement of Social Work England registration fees is also included.
This is an opportunity to join the SEND Family Help Service as a Social Worker, supporting children and families within a specialist children's social care setting. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility between home and office to meet the needs of the service.
Working within the SEND Family Help Service, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering effective support to children with special educational needs and disabilities and their families. This job includes:
- Supporting children and families within the SEND Family Help Service
- Working flexibly in a hybrid model between home and office to meet service needs
- Contributing to the wider Children's Social Care service
About you
The successful candidate will be a qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Work England. We welcome applications from a diverse range of candidates who are committed to making a difference for children and families.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a recognised Social Work qualification
- Be registered with Social Work England
- Have experience working within children's social care, ideally in a SEND or family help context
- Demonstrate a commitment to supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities and their families
