IT Automation & Data Specialist

We are expanding and seeking a versatile IT Automation & Data Specialist to enhance our business efficiency and enable smarter decision-making through technology and data. This position is perfect for a proactive individual who can lead our automation projects and deliver data insightswith advanced reporting tools likePower BI. You will collaborate directly with leadership, streamline workflows, minimise manual tasks, and highlight critical data to inform strategic choices and operational teams to optimise.

Your Responsibilities
- Quickly analyse existing business processes to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Design and deploy automation workflows using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate,PowerShell, Zapier or other scripting languages.
- Create integrations between business applications (e.g., CRM, finance, operations) using APIs or middleware.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise automation systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Support departments in adopting new technologies to reduce repetitive tasks and improve service delivery.
- Develop and maintainPower BI dashboards and reportsthat provide insights across departments (sales, operations, finance, etc.).
- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into meaningful visualisations.
- Identify patterns and trends in business data to support strategy and continuous improvement.
You will have
- Proven and demonstrable experience in video content creation
- Proven and demonstrable experience in social media strategy and significant audience growth
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling ability
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms
- Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
- Data-driven mindset with creative flair and attention to detail
You will need
- Solid knowledge ofMicrosoft Power Platform, especially Power Automate.
- Familiar withAPI integrationsand low-code/no-code platforms.
- Knowledge of business applications like PowerBI, Xero, or other CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to document processes clearly and train non-technical users.
- Skilled inPower BI, Power Query, and data modelling.
- Experience working with SQL and various data sources, including Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, 3rd party cloud applications, and databases.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights.
- Over 3 years of experience in IT automation and data analysis.
- Good problem-solving skills and self-motivated in small business settings.
- Excellent communicator with cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and projects with minimal oversight.
- Holding Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Power BI Data, Power Automate Developer).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 and Azure.
ÂŁ35,000 base (OTE/Performance Bonus up to ÂŁ45,000 p/a)
