Job Title: Buyer (Maternity Cover – 12 Months)

Part-time: Ideally 4 days per week (32 hours) – flexible for the right candidate

Are you a passionate, commercially minded Buyer with an eye for quality, styling, and customer needs?

Here at Bella di Notte we are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

As a key part of our Buying team, you will be responsible for managing a defined portfolio of products, ensuring that every item we bring to market aligns with our brand values and resonates with our target customer. From sourcing to styling, your work will shape our offering across our online (web) and offline (catalogue) media channels.

The role:

  • Product Management: Own and develop a product portfolio, securing lines that reflect our brand\’s styling, quality, sustainability, and pricing expectations. You will drive range development, ensuring the product reflects the brand strategy, the range is without gaps or duplication, and that the season is logically and commercially
    thought through.
  • Newness & Continuity: Deliver fresh product introductions and manage continuity lines in alignment with our seasonal launch calendar.
  • Supplier Relationships: Foster strong, collaborative, long-term relationships with our trusted suppliers, ensuring a mutual commitment to excellence and innovation.
  • Strategic Buying: Work closely with fellow Buyers and our experienced Merchandisers to support our agreed ranging and sourcing strategy, ensuring efficient frameworks are in place for both long-term planning and responsive, in-season trading. You will be responsible for operating an effective and timey product sign off process.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a buying role, ideally within fashion
  • Strong understanding of customer-led product development, range building and forecasting
  • Aware of current and emerging best practice within buying
  • Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution
  • A passion for quality and design with an appreciation for sustainability in the supply chain.
