Key Responsibilities:
- Surveying: Conduct detailed surveys for painting and decorating projects, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and standards.
- Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Produce CVRs: Develop Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports, keeping clients and internal teams informed of project status.
- Technical Advice: Provide expert advice on painting and decorating techniques, materials, and solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with CDM regulations, building regulations, and any relevant statutory requirements.
- Problem Solving: Address any technical challenges or issues that arise, using your expertise to find effective solutions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, contractors, and other surveyors.
- Client Communication: Engage with clients, providing clear updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Must be time-served with UK social housing experience and proven expertise in surveying within sectors such as painting and social housing.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of surveying practices, measurement techniques, CDM regulations, building regulations, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
- Problem Solving: Excellent ability to identify issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects.
- Communication and Negotiation: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality projects.
