Building Surveyor (Commercial)

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled team on impactful projects, particularly within the social housing sector . Surveying : Conduct detailed surveys for painting and decorating projects, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and standards. Project Delivery : Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Produce CVRs : Develop Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports, keeping clients and internal teams informed of project status. Technical Advice : Provide expert advice on painting and decorating techniques, materials, and solutions. Compliance : Ensure all work complies with CDM regulations, building regulations, and any relevant statutory requirements. Collaborate : Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, contractors, and other surveyors. Engage with clients, providing clear updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project. Experience : Must be time-served with UK social housing experience and proven expertise in surveying within sectors such as painting and social housing . Strong understanding of surveying practices, measurement techniques, CDM regulations, building regulations, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project . Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects. Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality projects.
