Bell Group, one of the UK\’s largest property services contractors, is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to join our team and head up our new North West Projects Branch. This exciting opportunity is based in Warrington and will oversee the branch operations for the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both planned and project works, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality services to our diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and motivate the branch team (operational, commercial, and support staff), ensuring compliance with company processes while promoting Bell’s values.
- Operational Management: Oversee all work delivered by the branch, ensuring projects meet budget, quality, and safety standards. Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure further business opportunities.
- Financial Oversight: Achieve financial targets for the branch, including managing costs, invoicing, and ensuring budgeted gross margin is achieved.
- Health & Safety: Endorse and maintain the company’s strong health and safety culture, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all safety regulations.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, contribute to tenders, and help grow the branch’s portfolio.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor and report branch performance (financial and non-financial), including regular audits and reviews.
- Subcontractor Management: Develop and manage a network of subcontractors to support contract delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional Industry Standard or equivalent
- Construction background
- CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management & Leadership (or equivalent)
- Pitman Excel – Advanced User
- CSCS card – Manager/Professionally Qualified Person
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience in managing Planned and Project works
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage budgets, financial targets, and customer relationships effectively
- 3- 5 years experience in a similar role (desirable)
