The Role

As Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Bell Sustainable Roofing, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality. You will coordinate teams, manage budgets and timelines, support business development, and help shape the growth and operational strategy of this fast-growing sustainable roofing business.

Duties will include:

• Oversee daily operations across all roofing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams for efficient project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, financial performance, and operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement.
• Support business development and client relationship management, contributing to proposals and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sustainability standards across all sites.
• Attend project meetings and provide operational input and updates.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Who We\’re Looking For

• Experience in construction, roofing, cladding or a closely related operational role
• Experience managing multi-site projects and coordinating teams
• Strong operational and project management skills
• Commercial awareness and ability to support business growth
• Knowledge of construction methods, subcontractor management, and health & safety compliance
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
