Bell Sustainable Roofing is seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong roofing background - particularly someone progressing from a hands-on/site-based role - who understands how projects run and takes pride in delivering work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the Role
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of roofing projects on sites across the UK. You’ll be responsible for managing contracts from survey stage through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with health & safety requirements. This is a hands-on management role ideal for someone who understands the realities of roofing work and can confidently coordinate teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage roofing contracts from initial survey through to final handover
- Oversee on-site project delivery, quality, and programme deadlines
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
- Carry out intrusive surveys, including core sampling and site measurements
- Liaise with clients, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Monitor labour, materials, and project costs
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively
- Ensure works are completed smoothly and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background within the roofing or construction contracting sector
- Good working knowledge of Single Ply systems
- Strong understanding of site safety and project delivery
- Ability to read site conditions, assess works, and manage multiple projects
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally
