Reports to Team Leader / Production Supervisor
Location: Cookstown
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Job Purpose: To support the production process, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production line equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow production schedules and instructions from the Team Leader.
- Prepare, assemble, and pack products in line with specifications.
- Carry out basic quality checks and report any defects or issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with company and food safety requirements.
- Complete required documentation, including production and traceability records.
- Assist with machine set-up, changeovers, and cleaning.
- Ensure materials and supplies are available and properly stored.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or FMCG environment (preferred but not essential).
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of HACCP and food hygiene standards is advantageous.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
