The production operative/despatch operative is responsible for ensuring that safe, legal and high-quality products are produced by adhering to all quality policies and procedures. The production operative is also responsible for ensuring that customers' quality specifications are met by performing quality checks and following procedures and work instructions.
- Comply with Company Hygiene Policy, including illness reporting
- Comply with Cleaning Work Instructions
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
- Manufacture of products as per specifications
- Completion of quality/production/despatch records
- Maintain & record batch traceability throughout the production process, including flavouring decanted into 10kg buckets, ingredients & packaging traceability
- Make up of daily orders
- Stock rotation (FIFO)
- Quality checks including use by date check (raw materials) on all intakes, production & dispatches
- Dispatch of goods
- Checks on the dispatch vehicle packing
- Boxing
- Labelling verification
- Any other duties as required
