Bell Publishing is looking for an Advertising Sales Manager to manage one of our industry-leading international B2B titles. This is a full-time maternity cover role. The client base is global, so a confident telephone manner is essential. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of 2-3 years experience in media sales, preferably within the B2B publishing environment. You will be able to manage an already-established client base whilst also sourcing new customers, and will sell directly to clients as well as to agencies, both face to face and over the phone. Working to monthly targets, this position is perfect for a professional sales person looking to use their skills within an exciting industry. We are based in Gravesend town centre with easy access by road and train (high speed link serving Medway Towns and London). We offer hybrid working with two days a week in the office.

Background and skills

  • 2-3 years sales experience ideally in B2B print and digital
  • Confident, outgoing approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience of digital flatplans and production
  • Work on international brands is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue growth through advertising sales on print and digital platforms
  • Work alongside the editorial, events and production teams to develop an integrated strategy to maximise sales
