As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a talented and ambitious Family Solicitor or experienced Family Fee Earner to join our progressive Private Law Family team. This role offers the opportunity to work across our network of offices in Liverpool City Centre, Liverpool, CHESHIRE, while benefiting from the flexibility of remote working.

About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual with strong interpersonal and networking skills to support the continued growth of our Family Law department. Working alongside our business development and marketing teams, you will manage a varied caseload of private family matters, including high-net-worth individuals, and play an active role in building the team’s visibility and reputation across our offices.
The ideal candidate will have:- Experience managing a mixed caseload of private family matters, including divorce, financial matters, and children’s proceedings.
- A solid understanding of Family Legal Aid, with the ability to advise and support eligible clients.
- A growth mindset, enthusiasm for business development, and confidence in building strong client and professional relationships.
You will be supported by an experienced and collaborative team of solicitors, fee earners, and paralegals. We believe in a culture of shared learning, open dialogue, and continuous improvement — ensuring modern best practice sits at the centre of how we work.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, finances, Children Act matters, and related issues.
- Provide high-quality legal advice with a focus on empathetic, client-centred service.
- Support and advise clients who qualify for Family Legal Aid.
- Proactively contribute to the development of the Family department through networking and BD activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and drive best practice.
- Maintain excellent file management and compliance standards.
- Ensure clients receive an exceptional experience aligned with our firm’s values.
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Family Fee Earner.
- Strong technical knowledge across core areas of family law.
