As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and committed Solicitor / Fee Earner to join our award-winning Conveyancing Team on a full-time basis. At Bell Lamb & Joynson, our Conveyancing team plays a key role in supporting clients through every stage of the home-moving process. We are proud of the reputation we’ve built for delivering a clear, efficient, and client-focused service, while managing transactions in a commercially sensible and professional way. The role is initially office-based, moving to a hybrid arrangement on completion of probation.
The successful candidate will be hands-on and collaborative, confident in managing their own caseload, and comfortable balancing high standards of client care with the pace and demands of a busy conveyancing environment. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage expectations, prioritise effectively, and guide clients clearly and pragmatically through their transaction to completion.

What you will do in your working day:
- Manage caseloads efficiently, accurately, and in line with timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and colleagues, building strong, trusted relationships.
- Maintain excellent standards of quality, compliance and file management.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
- Resolve issues promptly using good judgement and a proactive approach.
- Look for ways to improve processes to improve the client experience.
- Provide confident, steady leadership with your assistant and colleagues, helping create a productive working environment.
The role requires the following:
- Qualified Solicitor, CLC Conveyancing Licence, or Fellow of CILEx (FCILEx). Part-qualified candidates actively working towards the above qualifications will also be considered.
