We're looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our City of London office and help us sustain this legacy whilst shaping the next chapter of our practice.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a conveyancer who has found their feet in the discipline and is ready for greater autonomy and visibility. You'll manage a substantial caseload of residential transactions across the full spectrum—purchases, sales, remortgages, and refinances—with the freedom to develop your own client relationships and make considered decisions. What makes this role particularly rewarding is the absence of assembly-line pressure; you'll have time to do conveyancing properly, to guide clients through what is often their most significant financial transaction with clarity and care, and to build genuine trust rather than simply process paper.

Your day-to-day will involve conducting property searches and reports on title, drafting contracts and undertakings, managing completion timelines, and liaising with estate agents, lenders, and fellow solicitors with the kind of attention to detail that prevents costly mistakes. You'll oversee money movements, ensure regulatory compliance across anti-money laundering and Know Your Client protocols, and troubleshoot the inevitable complications that arise in property law—boundary disputes, defective titles, survey issues. You'll be supported by a conscientious team and have genuine access to partners for advice on complex matters, rather than being left to sink or swim.

The firm invests genuinely in development. Progression typically leads towards Senior Conveyancer status within 3–4 years, with the prospect of partnership for those who demonstrate both technical excellence and the client relationship skills that define our practice. We also actively support those pursuing the STEP qualification or other advanced conveyancing credentials.
