This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Family Law Consultant Lawyer, where you'll work flexibly from home whilst providing specialist advice to clients across the full spectrum of family law matters. You'll be part of a collaborative consultancy environment where your expertise directly shapes outcomes, and where you have genuine influence over how cases progress. Rather than being one voice in a large department, you'll have autonomy to manage your own caseload, build lasting client relationships, and develop your practice in ways that align with your strengths and interests.
Your day-to-day work will encompass matrimonial matters including divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, financial disputes, and children law. You'll conduct detailed client consultations that require you to listen carefully and explain complex legal concepts in ways clients genuinely understand. You'll prepare case strategies, draft correspondence and court documents, advise on settlement options, and represent clients' interests with both sensitivity and conviction. You might be advising a client on asset division one moment, then providing measured guidance on custody arrangements the next—work that demands both technical precision and emotional intelligence.
