Lucy Legal LLP is a forward-thinking corporate practice at the heart of London's financial district, advising ambitious mid-market and growth-stage companies through complex transactional landscapes. We've built a reputation for combining technical rigour with genuine commercial insight - the kind of counsel that doesn't just navigate deals, but shapes them. Our clients value us for knowing their business as well as the law.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a Senior Associate role within our Corporate team, where you'll take meaningful ownership of transactions while working closely with partners who actively mentor and trust their lawyers with real responsibility. You'll be joining us at a moment of genuine growth, where your contribution directly shapes the firm's capability in the market. If you're looking for a place where your technical expertise is valued but you're also encouraged to develop commercially, this is it.

Your day-to-day will span the full breadth of corporate work: advising on M&A transactions, equity investments, shareholder agreements, and general corporate governance matters. You'll draft key transaction documents, conduct due diligence, manage junior lawyers and trainees, and be the main point of contact for clients on significant matters. You'll work across a genuinely collaborative team, attending client meetings and taking real ownership of deals from inception to completion. This isn't a role where you'll disappear into a document silo—you'll understand the commercial context and your advice will shape outcomes.

Progression here is clear and genuine. We're structured to support lawyers reaching partnership, with partners who've come through our own ranks. As a Senior Associate, you'll have a clear pathway to the next level, with genuine business development opportunities, client relationships you'll build and maintain, and input into the firm's strategic direction. We measure success by the quality of your work and your client relationships, not political manoeuvring.
