As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Contentious Probate Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join our expanding Private Client function on a full‑time basis. At Bell Lamb & Joynson, contentious probate is a growing area of work. The department advises clients on a wide range of inheritance and estate‑related disputes, including will challenges, Inheritance Act claims, executor and trustee disputes, and estate administration conflicts.
We want to build a reputation delivering advice that is clear, pragmatic, and firmly grounded in achieving the best possible outcome, whether through negotiation, mediation, or litigation where required. Strong drafting, advocacy, and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the wider development of the department.
