Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Intellectual Property Paralegal. You will play a vital role in protecting the intangible assets of our clients—ranging from high-growth startups to multinational corporations. The successful candidate will manage global trademark and patent portfolios, assist with IP litigation, and ensure all statutory deadlines are met with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Maintain the firm’s IP Docketing System; ensure all deadlines for renewals, filings, and oppositions are monitored and met across UKIPO, EUIPO, and WIPO registries.
  • Drafting & Filings: Prepare and file trademark and design applications; draft deeds of assignment, licenses, and formal responses to office actions.
  • Search & Research: Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches and provide initial assessments on potential "conflicting marks" or infringement risks.
  • Litigation Support: Assist in preparing evidence for the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC) or High Court; organize trial bundles and manage document disclosure via legal tech platforms (e.g., Relativity).
  • Client Liaison: Act as a point of contact for clients and foreign associates; manage the legalization and notarization of documents for international use.
