The People Advisor will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across the People function, covering Talent acquisition, core people processes, People development, Communication, Engagement, Payroll and Total reward activities along with supporting on Employee relations cases and project work, as of when required. The People Advisor will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality, efficient, and employee-focused service as well as supporting managers and People Partners across Bell. Along with being people first focused, the team will also be AI first focused, embracing automation through maintaining accurate systems, and ensuring consistent People processes, quality and accurate data, and reporting. The role supports Bell Integration’s global workforce and requires timely and responsive collaboration with stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones. The overarching focus is in ensuring a positive employee experience worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Preboarding, Onboarding & Offboarding Support: Provide administrative support across the recruitment of all employment types (permanent, fixed term, contractor, temporary, agency), including processing new starters, contractor extensions, and leavers. Prepare and issue starter packs, contracts, offer letters, and associated documentation in line with agreed processes. Maintain recruitment trackers and consolidated reports, ensuring all workers are accurately recorded and compliant. Coordinate pre-employment screening, right-to-work checks and vetting, security renewals in collaboration with wider People team and other stakeholders. Produce regular recruitment and workforce reports, including headcount, extensions, and ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Core People Administration: Administer employee lifecycle processes, e.g. probation, contract changes, etc., ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data processing. Maintain employee, job, and organisational data within HR systems (e.g. Sage People, then Success Factors), ensuring data integrity at all times. Act as a first point of contact for People system users, responding to queries and liaising with internal or external support teams to resolve issues. Support People Partners with documentation, reporting, note-taking, and coordination for activities such as employee relations, TUPE, and redundancies. Produce regular and ad hoc HR reports (e.g. headcount, sickness, compliance, people related metrics) with a high standard of accuracy and presentation. Manage employment change requests (currently known as ECR).
  • Payroll Administration: Provide administrative support to the payroll process, including the preparation and submission of accurate data such as starters, leavers, contractual changes, and absence information within agreed deadlines. Carry out basic validation checks on payroll data to ensure accuracy and consistency, escalating discrepancies where identified. Act as a liaison between the People team, Finance, and external payroll providers to support timely and accurate payroll processing. Respond to basic payroll-related queries from employees, escalating complex issues appropriately. Vendor payroll processing.
  • People Development Support: Provide administrative support for learning and development initiatives across the business. Manage training requests, coordinating with employees, managers, and external providers to ensure effective delivery. Support the administration of e-learning platforms, including license tracking, utilisation reporting, and access queries. Coordinate logistics for training sessions, apprenticeships, graduate programmes, internships, and other development initiatives. Collate feedback from training and development activities and support analysis of engagement, certification and participation trends. Maintain up-to-date people development content, documentation, and resources on internal platforms (e.g. bMore/bNet), ensuring accessibility across regions.
  • Employee Relations support: Liaise with People Partners to administer employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, appeals, probations). Prepare ER documentation and maintain case files. Coordinate meetings and record actions. Maintain accurate data in People systems. Act as first-line support for employee relations queries and escalate, as required. Support People Partners with preparing documentation including settlement agreements, letters, and contract addendums. Provide accurate data and calculations to support ER, M&A activity such as due diligence.
  • People Projects/HR transformation: Participation in People team projects. Support process improvements, system implementation, policy and legal updates and change initiatives. Collaboration across global locations.
  • General & Compliance Responsibilities: Provide People administration support across Bell Integration’s global locations, working with regional stakeholders and taking ownership from start to finish, ensure that local requirements are met while maintaining consistency of core People processes. Participate in audits by providing supporting information as required across all P&V functions. Ensure all activities are carried out in line with Bell’s policies, data protection, and information security requirements. Demonstrate respect for equality, diversity, and inclusion, actively contributing to an inclusive and collaborative working environment across all regions. Promote continuous improvement in People processes, systems, and documentation, considering global scalability and local needs. Provide flexible administrative and project support to the wider People team as required. Provide audit support and maintenance of audit logs.

Experience & Knowledge: Previous experience in HR, recruitment, people operations, or complex administrative/ analytics, high value customer services role is required. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience using HR or people systems for data entry and reporting.

Skills: Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel (e.g. pivot tables, reporting, basic analysis). Ability to manage multiple priorities and high volumes of work effectively. Strong stakeholder management skills, with a professional and helpful approach to all enquiries. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
