About the Role
We're looking for a M365 Consultant to join our Modern Workplace team. You'll work closely with the Consultancy & Advisory Lead to develop the Practice strategy and provide technical support for both new opportunities and ongoing service optimisation.
This is a hybrid role with the link location in London.
What you'll be doing
- Exchange Expertise: Design, configure, and migrate complex Exchange environments (2010-2019 and Exchange Online), including hybrid deployments, cutovers, staged migrations, and decommissioning legacy environments.
- Modern Collaboration Solutions: Drive adoption and integration of Microsoft Viva (Connections, Insights, Learning, Engage), Loop components, Planner, To Do, Whiteboard, and Microsoft Fabric for data-driven collaboration and insights.
- Solution Design & Delivery: Plan, design, and deliver Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with business outcomes and security requirements.
- Governance & Documentation: Produce high-quality Solution Outlines, High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and operational runbooks; maintain technical governance artefacts.
- Migration Best Practices: Lead complex multi-forest migrations, directory synchronisation, and identity integration using Entra ID / Azure AD Connect and best-practice cutover plans.
What you'll bring
We're less interested in ticking boxes and more interested in what you can bring to the role. You might have experience with:
- Significant hands‑on experience with Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and online), hybrid coexistence, and migration scenarios.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Viva, Loop, Planner, Power Platform, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong identity background across Entra ID (Azure AD), ADFS, and Microsoft Identity Manager; hybrid identity design and troubleshooting.
- Intune design and configuration for MDM/MAM, Autopilot, Windows 10/11 lifecycle management, compliance and configuration policies.
