Overview:

The focus of this role is to work with key business stakeholders within Marketing, Sales, Pre-Sales, Operations, Vender Alliance, and Finance to understand key business processes and articulate business needs through prioritised requirements.

This role will be focused on the processes within Lead to Cash, mapping process and requirements to Salesforce CPQ features and driving implementation of new technical and automated solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Running workshops and observing users in action
  • Determining the present and future business processes
  • Facilitating the discussion of requirements among stakeholders and documenting requirements to provide data driven recommendations.
  • Gathering intelligence from managers and operational staff to bring the true business needs to light.
  • Gaining consensus of the real needs and map this to existing technology and tool support highlighting gaps and opportunities
  • Analysis of data and how it is used by the stakeholders.
  • Setting a shared vision and objectives and presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Create a backlog or prioritised requirements from which to develop and test against
  • Coordinating User Acceptance Testing and support training, roll out and adoption.

Requirements:

  • Has led business and technical analysis for all or parts of large-scale projects and programmes
  • End to end software development lifecycle experience with at least 3 projects involving the rollout or significant enhancement of Salesforce CPQ and related modules
  • Understanding of the pre-sales / quote and billing process for products and services
  • Use of separate Salesforce CPQ sandbox and code promotion
  • Formal Salesforce CPQ training / certifications
  • Proven experience of system replacement projects where continuity of service is critical
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Mapping and Value Chains
  • Business Analysis and requirements prioritisation techniques
  • Use of various elicitation techniques
  • Communications and stakeholder management

Desirable:

  • Formal Business Analysis certifications / qualifications
  • Worked on Implementation / enhancement projects for Sales Cloud and/or Certinia PSA
  • Experience in Implementation of any product quoting and approval tool.
