Overview
Bell Ingram is seeking an MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor to join our team in Beauly. Candidates working towards professional qualification are welcome to apply, with opportunities to progress in a busy rural surveying environment.
Responsibilities
- You will take a lead on estate management tasks and contribute to the full range of rural surveying services, including:
- Agricultural, commercial, and residential property and estate management, including natural capital, forestry, and sporting interests.
- Property consultancy on sales, purchases, landlord and tenant matters, compensation claims, servitudes, and wayleaves.
- RICS Red Book valuations and property appraisals.
- Advising on renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, solar, battery storage).
- Strategic land management advice for private and public sector clients.
- Business development with new and existing clients.
Qualifications / What we’re looking for
- MRICS qualified, or working towards qualification (RICS-accredited degree required).
- RICS Registered Valuer (or working towards the qualification).
- FAAV preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team.
- A full driving licence and access to a car.

Situated in Beauly, 12 miles from Inverness, the Highland office team provide a broad range of land agency services ranging from traditional estate management to utilities and pipelines, in addition to rural consultancy, estate agency and valuations.
