We are looking for a qualified Forest Manager to join our team due to increased workload. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team with a diverse portfolio of projects.

The role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of forestry management including:

  • New woodland creation
  • Production of long-term forest plans
  • Marketing and harvesting of timber
  • Management of existing woodlands
  • Assisting with utility projects
  • Environmental surveys

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of an HND in Forestry or a related subject
  • Have experience and knowledge of practical forestry and of forestry management
  • Be highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • An environmental qualification or experience would be desirable

Location

Preferred bases for this role are detailed below but any Bell Ingram Scottish office would be considered and will be discussed at interview.

  • Perth – Situated on the banks of the River Tay in Perth, Durn has been Bell Ingram’s headquarters since 1962. The Perth office boasts the biggest head count of all Bell Ingram offices and has representatives, mainly Partner level, from all service areas.
  • Aberdeen – Situated in the heart of the Granite City, the Aberdeen office specialises in estate management, property sales and valuations, pipeline services and compensation work.
  • Ayr – Bell Ingram’s Ayr office is ideally situated in Sandgate, at the heart of this bustling seaside town on the Ayrshire coast.
