The role

The graduate will support the team by delivering land management tasks, utility, infrastructure and renewable projects. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of a diverse and exciting portfolio of infrastructure and renewable projects
  • Delivering land and property advice and services to and on behalf of clients
  • Delivering a range of tasks and/or schemes to a high standard using initiative and a proactive approach to ensure client deadlines and objectives are met
  • Developing strong working relationships with client personnel, and internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants and landowners/occupiers
  • Maintaining/improving client relationships by upholding quality standards
  • Being commercially aware, maintaining good records and comprehensive files to provide regular client updates, and ensure compliance with Company procedures

Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate, either with an RICS accredited degree, or keen to develop and willing to complete further relevant postgraduate training
  • Disciplines such as Geography or Environmental studies are ideal but other relevant degrees will be considered
  • The ability to communicate in an effective way
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word packages and GIS platforms
  • The ability to manage your time
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Have a full UK driving licence with access to a car and be willing to travel to site and project locations
  • Be a team player and have a can-do attitude

Location

Morpeth situated within the purpose-built office complex of UK Coal’s former Ellington Colliery, Bell Ingram’s Morpeth office team specialises in utility infrastructure projects, rural and residential Estate Management and valuation work. Our clients primarily include a number of the Statutory Undertakers with a small number of private clients.
