The role
The graduate will support the team by delivering land management tasks, utility, infrastructure and renewable projects.
Key responsibilities will include:-
- Supporting the delivery of a diverse and exciting portfolio of infrastructure and renewable projects. Applicants should be comfortable working on multiple projects at different stages of development and excel at keeping projects moving forward efficiently.
- Overseeing agricultural, commercial and residential property and estate management for a diverse range of clients.
- Delivering land and property advice and services to and on behalf of clients.
- Delivering a range of tasks and/or schemes to a high standard using initiative and a proactive approach to ensure client deadlines and objectives are met.
- Developing strong working relationships with client personnel, and internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants and landowners/occupiers.
- Delivering long term property and asset management strategies, including managing of capital and operational budgets and client investment programmes.
- Maintaining/improving client relationships by upholding quality standards.
- Being commercially aware, maintaining good records and comprehensive files to provide regular client updates, and ensure compliance with Company procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate, either with an RICS accredited degree, or keen to develop and willing to complete further relevant postgraduate training. Disciplines such as Geography or Environmental studies are ideal but other relevant degrees will be considered.
- The ability to communicate in an effective way.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word packages and GIS platforms.
- The ability to manage your time.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Have a full UK driving licence with access to a car and be willing to travel to site and project locations.
- Be a team player and have a can-do attitude.
Locations
- Northwich and Kendal – our team operate out of two office locations working as one team to deliver our clients’ objectives across the region. The offices provide specialist land agency advice and services for infrastructure and renewables companies, as well as managing a mixed property portfolio across the north west. Northwich – located in Mid-Cheshire, our office is located in an out-of-town location with excellent links to our clients in Manchester, Liverpool, Chester and the wider northwest region.
Kendal – Situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park, our office provides an excellent location from which to deliver services across the region.
Flexible working is supported across our teams and an element of home working will be considered.
