Are you an MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor ready to take your career to the next level? Bell Ingram is seeking a passionate professional to lead a variety of exciting projects across Scotland. Based in Ayr, this role offers a dynamic blend of client engagement, land management, and high-level consulting with rural, forestry and utility clients. From securing project access for utilities to handling rural valuations and property sales, you’ll have the chance to shape impactful projects in a growing firm with a national reputation.

Lead Projects: Manage Utility Frameworks for major utility companies, helping to secure project access, and negotiate compensation claims with landowners. Work with Bell Ingram’s Forestry professionals delivering new woodland creation, management of woodlands and harvesting and marketing of timber.

Client Relations: Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and professional advisers to ensure seamless project delivery. Oversee land acquisitions, compensation claims, servitudes/wayleaves, and renewable energy projects.

Valuation & Advisory: Conduct property appraisals and RICS Red Book valuations, and offer strategic advice on rural land management. Work alongside diverse teams to support public and private clients with 21st-century land solutions.

MRICS qualified (Registered Valuer preferred), with several years post qualification experience in rural surveying. A motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively, ready to progress, build on the success of the Ayr office and progress to Partner level. Agile in task management with solid market insight across utility, rural, forestry, and farming sectors.

Bonus Skills: Practical farming/forestry experience and knowledge of utility projects.
