Bell Cornwall Recruitment\’s client are a high street law firm, hoping to grow their conveyancing department with an experienced conveyancing paralegal who can handle sales files from enquiry to completion. Unfortunately, their busy team do not have the capacity currently to provide extensive training, so the right candidate will need a background in conveyancing.
The Role:
Assisting with Solicitors caseload
Compiling bundles and assisting the Solicitors with case queries
Liaising with clients to resolve any queries
Drafting of legal documents
Progress the administration of any transactions
Undertake all key functions as part of a conveyancing sale transaction
Daily updates of the system and reports
General administration and secretarial support in relation to the roleThe Ideal Conveyancing Paralegal will have:
Knowledge of conveyancing would be necessary
Previous experience in a similar legal role or in a paralegal role would be necessary
IT literacy would be necessary as well as excellent communication skills
The ability to meet deadlines and have flexibility to help and support the team
