It represents an excellent opportunity for a proven bid professional to step into a pivotal position, with the scope to build and lead a dedicated bids team over time. Your new role as Bid Manager As Bid Manager, you will take ownership of the full bid lifecycle, from identifying opportunities through procurement portals to producing high-quality, competitive submissions. You\’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop compelling proposals that showcase the consultancy\’s capabilities. Key responsibilities will include: Monitoring procurement portals and other channels for new opportunities. Leading the preparation, coordination, and submission of bids and tenders. Writing and tailoring internal CVs, case studies, and capability documents. Maintaining a central bid library and templates. Supporting wider business development activity and growth strategies. Establishing best practices in bid management. Building and leading a bid function as the business grows. What you\’ll need to succeed as a Bid Manager To be considered, you should demonstrate: Proven experience managing bids with a Civil Engineering sector, ideally within a contractor environment Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities. Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively with senior colleagues.
