Following the award of several new contracts in Northern Ireland, we have vacancies for a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team. These positions can be based in either our BELFAST or COOKSTOWN office. Bell Contracts & Co Ltd are a professional construction company which operates throughout the UK and Ireland. We provide construction, property redevelopment and refurbishment services across various sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse construction drawings and specifications to identify labour, material, and specialist requirements.
- Preparation of enquiry documents, sourcing and obtaining material and subcontractor quotations including final negotiations and orders.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors on a regular basis to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
- Complete monthly subcontractor valuations through to final.
