A great opportunity has arisen with a long standing independent broker on the outskirts of Wakefield who are looking to add an Account Handler to the team due to business growth and planning ahead for the rest of 2026.
This broker has been established in the region for over 25 years and has built up a solid client base across Wakefield and the surrounding areas during this time.
Key Duties
- Managing your allocated portfolio of key clients with premiums typically between £10k – £100k
- Supporting clients with customer service issues, renewals and adjustments to their policies
- Working closely, effectively and efficiently with client facing Account Executives and Directors
- Broking new and existing risks
- Liaising with insurers on a regular basis
- Attending meetings with clients alongside an Account Executive
- Working towards professional studies
- Using Acturis on a daily basis
This is a superb opportunity for someone with a couple of years commercial insurance experience that is looking to progress themselves further and gain exposure to larger, more challenging risks. In order to be a successful part of this team you must be an excellent communicator with good decision-making skills, outstanding attention to detail and a focus on doing the best by your clients.
