Overview
An exciting opportunity with one of the UK’s leading independent insurance broking and risk management companies based in Bradford. They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their direct client team and service/retain an existing portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs
- Handle premiums up to c£20,000
- Work with a broad range of clients, including Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions
- Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
- Communicate with Underwriters daily and maintain good relationships
- Broking risks for new business and renewals
- Refer any claims through to the dedicated team
- Work closely with the Corporate Broking team
- Use the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms daily
Salary and benefits
Salary up to c£35k with a benefits package including 29 days holiday, pension, private medical, life assurance, hybrid working with 2 days from home, free on-site parking and support towards CII qualifications.
