About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join the dynamic team of a leading insurance broker. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of complex commercial insurance claims, providing expert guidance and ensuring outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and manage a variety of commercial insurance claims from inception to settlement, including Property, Motor, Liabilities and PI
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients and colleagues regarding claim matters
  • Investigate and assess claims to determine liability and potential settlement
  • Liaise with insurers, legal representatives, and other relevant parties to facilitate efficient claims resolution
  • Mentor and support claims colleagues, contributing to the team’s development
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial claims handling within an insurance brokerage
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and claims processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex claims efficiently
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) preferred but not essential
