Job Description Corporate Account Handler / Client Adviser Leeds | £42,000 – £48,000 | Hybrid Working We are assisting a growing independent insurance broker in Leeds as they look to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler / Client Adviser to their team. You’ll become part of an established Leeds team, working closely with experienced Account Executives and supporting the servicing and retention of a portfolio of corporate clients. The role will provide exposure to a broad range of businesses, industry sectors and complex commercial insurance programmes, with client premiums typically starting around £30,000 and extending beyond £500,000. Work closely with Account Executives to provide a high level of day-to-day service and support to corporate clients Liaise and negotiate with a broad range of composite and specialist insurers and MGAs Provide technical insurance advice and apply appropriate policy wordings, extensions and limitations Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal broking, claims and risk management teams Accompany Account Executives to client meetings where appropriate, helping to develop stronger client relationships Handle a broad range of commercial insurance products including Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Cyber, Contract Works and other specialist covers We are looking for an experienced commercial insurance professional who can demonstrate: Previous experience within commercial insurance broking Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products A good understanding of FCA requirements and regulatory standards Enjoys building relationships, working collaboratively and providing a high standard of service to clients 30 days' holiday plus bank holidays ~ Hybrid working – up to 2 days per week from home ~6% pension contribution ~ Private medical insurance ~ Life assurance ~ Free on-site parking ~ Support towards CII qualifications and continued professional development ~ Opportunity to participate in a company profit-share scheme This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Handler looking to step into a more corporate-focused position, or an existing Corporate Account Handler / Client Adviser looking to join an ambitious business offering excellent long-term prospects.
