Are you working in personal lines claims or claims management and keen to move over to commercial insurance? Or have you had some claims FNOL experience and now looking to expand this further? We’re partnering with a leading insurance broker with a strong reputation for client service and a genuine focus on developing their people. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established administration team that provide back office support to the regional claims department.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a leading claims department, ensuring a smooth process for clients that are experiencing a commercial loss.
Key Responsibilities
- Recording new claims from clients and ensuring all necessary information and supporting evidence are gathered and set up on Acturis.
- Checking the client's insurance policy to determine what is covered and to establish valid claim parameters.
- Generating claims reports for clients on a quarterly or 6 monthly basis depending on their needs.
- Uploading and assigning all email correspondence to the correct client files.
- Assist Claims Handlers with day to day admin tasks, such as MID updates, issuing of documents and managing claims logs.
About You
- Experience within an administration role is required and ideally within an insurance or claims capacity.
- Knowledge of claims within commercial, personal lines, claims management or a law firm is desired.
- Keen to build a long-term career in insurance.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Proactive, motivated, and willing to learn.
- A team player with a customer-focused approach.
