We’re proud to be working in partnership with one of Yorkshire’s most respected and progressive insurance brokers, currently seeking an experienced Corporate Account Handler to join their brand-new Sheffield office – conveniently located near the M1. This role has become available due to an internal promotion, a testament to the company’s commitment to developing and progressing its people. The Role:

You’ll be working closely with two Account Directors, supporting a diverse portfolio worth approximately £2.5 million GWP. The book covers a broad mix of commercial risks and industry sectors, offering a varied and rewarding workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive and professional support to clients, maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Manage all aspects of policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and documentation
  • Liaise with insurers to negotiate favourable terms and ensure comprehensive cover
  • Review policy wordings and ensure all documentation is accurate and FCA-compliant
  • Support new business broking and onboarding processes
  • Contribute to internal best practice sharing and support less experienced team members
  • Use Acturis and other systems to manage client workflows and documentation

About You:

  • Proven experience in commercial or corporate insurance account handling
  • Strong technical understanding of commercial insurance products and markets
  • Confident in negotiating with underwriters and maintaining insurer relationships
  • Working knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance frameworks
  • Proficient in using Acturis (preferred) or other broking systems
  • Cert CII qualified, with a desire to progress toward ACII
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive mindset
