Commercial Insurance Account Executive – Independent Insurance Brokerage

They are looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their team and take on an existing book of clients generating £175k in income. You’ll manage and grow relationships with a diverse client portfolio, while also having the opportunity to win new business and truly make your mark.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing commercial clients
- Proactively seek and develop new business opportunities when required
- Respond to warm inbound leads and convert them into active business
- Prepare and present tailored insurance proposals to meet client needs
- Handle policy renewals to ensure excellent client retention rates
- Negotiate competitive terms and premiums with insurers
- Ensure FCA compliance and maintain accurate client records
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a seamless client experience
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience with an insurance broker is essential
- Either an experienced Account Executive, or someone that is looking to make the step up and take on a portfolio of clients from a Director
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and the wider market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and client-focused approach
- Cert CII or higher is a bonus, but not essential
What’s on offer:
- Competitive base salary £45,000 – £65,000 (DOE)
- 20% commission on all new business
