The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Jersey. This is a full-time, permanent, site-based role within a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a live project on the island.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing the project from initiation through to completion.
  • Managing all labour and subcontractors on site.
  • Reviewing and monitoring project progress to ensure programmes and milestones are achieved.
  • Attending and leading site meetings with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and best practice.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Completing all required site documentation on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Ensuring quality control measures are effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Managing and updating the QA process and Golden Thread documentation where applicable.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3-Day First Aid at Work certification.
  • CSCS Gold or Black Card.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management.
  • Experience working for a main contractor.
  • Proven background in steel and cladding projects.
  • Knowledge of BSR, PCSA, and Golden Thread processes.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering construction projects as a Project Manager.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
  • Sound knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using construction and project management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organised with strong time-management abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with the confidence to lead on site.
