The Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The role will be full time on a permanent contract, within a fast-paced environment and will be site based. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for a live project.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and managing the project from initiation to completion.
- Managing all labour and subcontractors on-site.
- Reviewing and monitoring project progress to ensure timelines are met.
- Attending site meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and address issues.
- Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure compliance and quality.
- Assessing and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Completing all required site forms on a daily and weekly basis.
- Ensuring quality control measures are effectively implemented.
- Maintaining safety standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Updating and managing the QA process and the Golden Thread documentation.
Who We're Looking For
- 3-Day First Aid at Work certification.
- CSCS Gold or Black Card.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management.
- Background with a main contractor.
- Experience in steel and cladding projects.
- Knowledge of BSR, PCSA, and Golden Thread processes.
- Proven experience as a construction project manager.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with construction/project management software.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A team player with strong leadership abilities.
