What you’ll do
- Provide financial and business analysis support to the Finance Team and to provide meaningful information to Management, Sales, Product Management, and other departments within the organization who rely on the information to make informed business decisions.
- Assist in the annual planning process, periodic outlooking/forecasting, analysis of the regional customer and product management business performance and financial support of the customer quoting process.
- Monitor and flag risks arising from the day-to-day business and ensure these are made visible to the organization and are addressed appropriately.
- Daily tracking regional sales and product code performance against budget/plans and ensure profitability targets are met across the business.
- Manage daily operational controls and approvals i.e., invoice margin holds, RMA, customer marketing spends, deal and contract pricing etc.
- Periodic reporting and (variance) analyses of financial reporting, strategic initiatives, profitability, and channel stock performance.
- Support and co-ordinate the annual budget process.
- Partner with Sales and Regional Product Management teams to prepare analysis of product line and customer account profitability and other sales analysis, including P&L modelling and scenario analysis.
- Support for business reviews and presentations.
- Participation in sales outlook meetings, P&L and sales regions business reviews.
- Provide (ad hoc) decision support for business reviews, large business deals/tenders being proposed or for annual terms negotiations with major accounts in EMEA.
- Track Belkin and channel stock risk and recommend follow-up actions (promotions, price protection, RMA’s, excess deals and scrapping) and capture the impact on the overall profitability of the business.
- Act as a backup for the finance manager and the rest of the team where needed.
- Travel between offices Wellingborough and Kings Langley with European travel a possibility for the future.
What you’ll need
- Experience in Business Administration/Control, or similar.
- Essential skills in integrated business software packages (e.g., Oracle, Business Objects, Hyperion and Microsoft Office (including Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint Primarily).
- Experience with Hyperion Essbase or equivalent, Business Objects and MS Access, a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial drivers of the overall business profitability.
- Able to communicate on all levels in different disciplines (Sales, Product Management, Accounting, Planning).
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with German or Spanish as a plus.
- Collaborative, pro-active, and flexible attitude.
- Preferable experience in Consumer Electronic an advantage.
- 1 or 2 years of experience in a Finance or Analytical role preferably.
