My client is a fast‐growing energy business based in the Bury area. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Settlements Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring the business is charged correctly for services/products provided. The successful candidate will work in a rewarding environment, ensuring data is validated in a timely fashion.
Reporting to the Team Leader and Finance Manager, this role requires excellent IT skills including Excel, a strong eye for detail and experience working with invoices.
Responsibilities
- Industry invoice validation – both reconciliation and cost validation
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve and correct data inaccuracies.
- Responsibility for internal data accuracy
- Various standard and reporting
- Support development of internal systems to improve data performance and efficiency.
- Data cleansing and processing tasks
- Provide agreed monthly reporting packs to the Senior Management Team
The Right Candidate Will Have
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent arithmetic skills
- Computer literate with advanced Excel skills (specifically IF statements, Vlook ups, Indexing and Pivot tables)
- VB skills are an advantage.
- Accomplished with Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident, self-disciplined and autonomous
- Organised with excellent time management
