Fast growing service provider based in the Manchester City Centre area requires a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a newly created role due to business growth that will really allow progression for the right person.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Management Accountant. You will be qualified/part qualified/QBE CIMA/ACCA/ACA for this role. This role will offer progression and development as the business grows. You will also have strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Experience in Xero is also a positive for this role.
Duties of the role will include:
- Preparing and consolidating monthly management accounts
- Leading the month-end process and supporting Board reporting
- Providing commercial insight — including profitability analysis and tender support
- Supporting refinancing and M&A processes
- Overseeing reconciliations and ensuring robust financial controls
- Preparing VAT returns, audit information, and investor reports
- Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
