I am working on a retained basis with a PE Saa S business based in the Ilkley area of Yorkshire.

This is a hybrid role that will offer development to the right candidate.

This role very much suits a self starter who has confidence in their own ability.

The Role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, youll take ownership of group reporting and consolidation while supporting the wider finance function with financial analysis, budgeting and continuous process improvement.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to develop within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidations.

Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, profit & loss and cash flow.

Ensure accurate intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.

Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

Maintain compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and relevant accounting standards.

Support external and internal audits.

Produce insightful management reports for senior leadership.

Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting.

Review and improve financial controls and accounting processes.

Work closely with colleagues across finance, tax, treasury and operations.

You will be: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.

Experience in group accounting or financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

Excellent Excel and financial systems skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

High attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
