My client, a growing utilities business based in the Bury area seeks a Junior Business Development executive to join their sales team. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone at the start of their career who is outgoing, ambitious and eager to learn. You don’t need previous energy or sales experience – what matters most is your personality, your enthusiasm and your desire to grow. You’ll join the Sales team and, with full training, support and mentoring, learn how we develop new and existing business through first class customer service. As you develop, this role offers a clear pathway to progress into a Business Development Manager position.
Responsibilities
- Build great relationships with customers over the phone and in person
- Learn about and promote products and services
- Help develop new and existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
- Provide first class customer service to clients
- Help prepare quotes, proposals, and supporting information for the team
- Support the day-to-day management of relationships
- Assist with client queries, escalating to colleagues where needed
- Attend client meetings and hospitality events alongside experienced colleagues
- Keep accurate records and help maintain our sales data and reporting
- Take part in ongoing training and development to build industry knowledge
