The Opportunity

Our client is an established wealth management and financial planning practice seeking a Personal Assistant / Administrator to join its team. This is more than an administrative support role. • Manage diaries, appointments and inboxes.
  • Maintain and update client records using Salesforce.
  • Assist with simple case writing and preparation of client documentation.
  • Complete general practice administration and client servicing activities.
  • Assist with keeping client cases and administrative processes on track.
  • Take on progressively more technical responsibilities as knowledge and qualifications develop.
  • Support the adviser and wider team with the smooth running of the practice.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Previous diary and inbox management experience.
  • Exposure to simple case writing and client documentation.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A willingness to undertake routine administrative tasks while building a strong foundation in wealth management.
  • A genuine ambition to progress into a Wealth Manager / advisory role.

Career Progression

This role offers a structured career pathway towards becoming a Wealth Manager within approximately three years, subject to performance, development and completion of the required training. The successful candidate will receive structured training, mentoring and support while gaining progressively greater exposure to the technical and advisory aspects of the business. This opportunity would particularly suit someone who already has experience within a financial planning practice but has not previously been given a clear or structured route into an advisory career.

Why Consider This Role?

  • Genuine, structured career progression into Wealth Management.
  • Training and support towards relevant qualifications.
  • Opportunity to learn the business from the ground up.
  • Mentoring and development within an established practice.
