Compass Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Chef de Partie to join our team at Belhaven Hill School.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality main meals for up to 200+ students and staff, ensuring consistency, presentation, and nutritional standards are met.
  • Support the Head Chef with menu planning, development, and the creation of popular school dishes that appeal to a wide range of ages.
  • Assist with ordering and stock management, ensuring ingredients are available and wastage is minimised.
  • Take responsibility for all due diligence documentation, including food safety records, temperature checks, and allergen management whilst on shift.
  • Ensure all allergen information is accurately recorded and communicated, maintaining full compliance with food safety legislation.
  • Produce a variety of school favourites while demonstrating basic baking skills for desserts, snacks, and bakery items.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen cleanliness at all times.
  • Support junior team members during service, helping to ensure an efficient and well-organised kitchen operation.
